Everything in Moderation

In an op-ed piece published today in the LA Times, Rosa Brooks reports on a study recently published by the Creighton University Center for the Study of Religion in which it is determined that indeed, too much religion may be a dangerous thing.

Arguably, Paul's study invites us to conclude that the most serious threat humanity faces today is religious extremism: nonrational, absolutist belief systems that refuse to tolerate difference and dissent.

But I think we all knew that. (Thanks Jeff)
