Apparently all went well and after the big event, the local grandparents made a food run for, what else, Chic-fil-a (there's a family connection there, if you didn't get the wink-and-nod). A friend also delivered birthday cup cakes, as young Abigail shares a birthday with her soon-to-be-baby-bff, Avery.
Momma and baby (and daddy I presume) will stay in hospital until Saturday, when finally, Riley will meet the newest member of her pack, and will get to find out what smells belong with all the new stuff in that room where she used to play some times.
So... Thoughts on being an uncle? Learn to spell uncle*.

Can't wait to see tiny Abby getting bendy with uncle Josh and auntie Paige in her first baby yoga session! Oh, and you can teach her about which veggies are yummy alongside her pureed babyfood Texas steak. Adorable!
