New Look for Spring

I've been tired of the old look for a while but didn't have time/inclination to do anything about it. I'm still not totally into this one so if you hate it, don't think too much about it. Essentially, it was a quick way to move to a three column layout that I plan on tweaking later (for example, I've already ditched the blogger bar from the top, shrunk the header, and removed the serifed fonts). One thing I'm not super fond of is the way the main content column is so narrow, but again, it was a quick fix. I plan on making that variable width so that it will size to full, sometime. That will make it possible again to put larger pictures on the main page -- though the blogger upload tool w/Picasa does a pretty nice job of making a thumbnail with a larger version on click-through so I'm not too hung up on that. Also, I've decided to only show three posts on the main page at a time now, so if you read without a feed reader and you miss posts, you may have to use the "Older Posts" link that appears at the bottom of the page now, or use the date-based archive to go backwards.

In other news, it's a beautiful day here in Durham but we will get more rain later in the week.
